Privacy policy.
Plain English, because there is not much to tell: this site sets no cookies and collects nothing except what you send us through the enquiry form.
Who we are
Equine Racing Ltd (company no. 10271242, VAT no. 270679184) is a bloodstock agency and racehorse syndication house. Our registered office is Tudor House, 250 Menlove Avenue, Calderstones, Liverpool L18 3JF. For anything in this policy, contact us at sales@equineracing.co.uk or on 077 1263 9792.
What we collect and why
The only personal data this website collects is what you choose to give us through the enquiry form: your name, email address, telephone number (optional) and the content of your message. We use it for one purpose, to respond to your enquiry about ownership, syndication or bloodstock services.
Our lawful basis for this is legitimate interest: you have contacted a business asking about its services, and responding to you requires using the details you provided.
Who processes your data
Form submissions are delivered to us by FormSubmit (formsubmit.co), a third-party form-handling service that transmits your enquiry to our sales inbox. FormSubmit is based in the United States, so your enquiry data is transferred outside the UK when you submit the form. We rely on the safeguards described in Articles 44 to 49 of the UK GDPR for that transfer.
This website is hosted and served by Cloudflare, which processes technical data (such as IP addresses) as part of delivering the site and protecting it from attacks.
Cookies and tracking
This website sets no cookies and uses no analytics, advertising or tracking of any kind. Nothing is stored in your browser by us.
How long we keep your data
Enquiry emails are kept for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and any relationship that follows from it. If nothing comes of an enquiry, we delete it within 24 months.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to our use of it, and to data portability. To exercise any of these rights, email sales@equineracing.co.uk and we will respond within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk or 0303 123 1113).
Changes to this policy
If we change how this website handles personal data, we will update this page. The date below shows when it was last revised.
